Peer Review Process

Peer Review Process

Jurnal Kreasi Rakyat (JKR) applies a Double-Blind Peer Review process for all submitted manuscripts. The review process involves authors, editors, section editors, and reviewers.

Review Stages:

  1. Initial Screening: Every submitted manuscript is first checked by the Editor-in-Chief for compliance with the journal scope, focus, and writing guidelines.
  2. Peer Review: Manuscripts that pass initial screening are sent to a minimum of 2 (two) independent reviewers. The review process takes approximately 1-2 weeks.
  3. Decision: Based on reviewer recommendations, the editor will make one of the following decisions: Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject.
  4. Revision: Authors are given the opportunity to revise their manuscripts based on reviewer comments.
  5. Final Decision: The editor makes a final decision after reviewing the revised manuscript.

Articles that have been submitted take an average of about 4 weeks to publish.
